I ran into a little set back with the wire harness that I thought was for a 77 C1 turned out to be wrong. I found another one and while I made this hugger fit. I love the miracles of modern science. Without it I wouldn't be able to move the chain passage over about an inch so it will work on my bike. It looks like it will work pretty good.

Has it really been 3 years since the wreck? Great job on bringing it back to life. Very impressive & it was great seeing a lot of "long timers" checking in.

Yeah Bill, time flies and it is cool to hear from some of the old bunch. In Sept. it's going to be 4 years, damm. Anyway I bent up a licence plate holder to mount the plate just below the tail light. For a licence plate light I drilled a pair of holes on the bottom of the light right under the bulbs. I glued in a couple of clear pieces of plastic to fill the holes.

I bent up a little more metal. This time to keep from seeing the battery box. I still have to paint it to match the frame. In the future I make another one from aluminum and polish it. I also welded a tab for the brake reservoir and a channel to the front of the box to mount the rectifier as there's no room under the box now.

Trying to get all the pits and pieces finished up. I made a oil cooler bracket today from a bed rail off a Toyota pick up. It was a U channel that I cut the side off of and welded it up. It bolts on where the horn was mounted, I use my Yoshimura horn now.

Badkaw I can't remember what their off of. The fronts and backs are from two different kinds of bike, I just put the same pegs as the rear on the front. I also cut an exhaust mount off the right rear peg mount.

I wired up my tail light today. I split the brake wire then put a diode on each wire and a diode on each turn lead then connected a brake wire with each turn lead then to the bulb. I well not have a rear blinker when the brake is on but I can live with that.

I was kind of thinking (and dang it if that didn't hurt my head!:pinch:...lol!) along the same lines, especially since I recently installed one on my Trooper.

I bought an identical tail light for my 650 that Mark has for his 650, and would love to be able to integrate the rear signals rather than run a set of signals that look like curb feelers. :S

Part numbers man! We need part numbers! :woohoo:
