So, bad news on the paintwork. The solvent pop was all through the clear making it impossible to sand out without hitting the green candy layer. As soon as I went through the candy layer it got lighter - leaving it looking blotchy and pretty awful.
Easiest fix is just to sand it down and start again - live and learn I suppose.

Anyway, I'm putting this on hold until I finish building a workshop next to the house to do the paintwork in. Waiting on the guys to pour the concrete at the moment, hoping to start building in November. No real hurry on this build as it will only be registered for summer.

After a lot of work getting the kitchen finished I still haven't got the foundation for the workshop done. I figure it will be a while until I can get it finished so I used some leftover wood to make a small spray booth in a corner of the carrport. I used the door, lights and ventilator/filter that I had for the workshop, Finished making some shelves, a drawer for the spray gun parts and a couple of turntables today and now it's ready to use. As soon as the temperature goes up a bit I'll get back to work on this build.

Very nice! Much better than my current spray booth (my back yard).

My paint booth is also in the back yard. Has a good fresh air intake, though.

It's just a couple of boards bolted to a cheap Amazon swivel:
