Here are some impressions. 

The video is of it running after I put together the engine again. Of course it didn't start right away but took a couple of days of readjustments, changing the head gasket, going through several spark plugs until it then finally came to life. In the video I actually started it for the second time, that's why I'm not too surprised anymore. The first time was one of the happiest moments of my life (I don't have kids yet...)! 



My working conditions in our courtyard, since I don't have a garage available:




Some of the metal scrapings I fished out of the engine. Felt like a surgeon removing bullet fragments from a body.
