78 KZ650B to F1

Though not really a "Project" as the bike was already very nice when I got it. It's more of a conversion/changing things to the way I want it. Just figured I would share with you guys cause I know everyone loves pics haha.

Here is the bike as I picked it up this fall. It had a RC pipe on it which I let my buddy keep for his bike. We threw just a shorty cone on it so I could ride it till the snow flew.


Here it is with the little shorty pipe on it.


Out for a ride this fall and stopped by my moms house.


Pulled the spokes off and replaced them with some mags.

Got myself a 2nd front disc and had them both drilled.


Pic is a little dark but got the new Vance & Hines exhaust installed.


A quick clip of her running. Pretty impressed since she hasn't been ran since December. I will have a little carb work to do this spring. Going to swap out the VM22's for a set of 24's. Also picked up an air box for her instead of the stacks.

Thanks. The spokes were nice but I really like the mags better.

Bike looks killer. I dig the mags with the B2 paint. Do you have two 7mm disks? If so i would recommend getting them thinned. I just had two single disks done for a B2 and the improvement in braking was noticeable. shaved 7 pounds off.
