MY GPZ1100 Build

Kray, thanks for your input. I took the bike out for a 300km ride over the weekend and apart from a slightly flat topend (I didn't accelerate too hard because the engine is still tight) it ran great.
The suspension rode hard because I couldn't work out how to adjust the damping, after I got home I worked it out (the adjuster rod was missing).
Apart from the hard ride it was fantastic to ride and now I have a dilemma of working out which of my three bikes will be ridden rarely.
I like the Marving (I have one on all three bikes) this pipe is a "street" pipe, the racing pipe I have on my Z1R has a noticeable power increase.
That 1100 in the picture looks great, worth considering.

Forgot to add, originally I stated the headlight was no good on low beam, I retract that statement after my night ride I now believe it is on par with my Z1R HID light, high praise indeed.

this morning my paint suggestion would be the blue zrx scheme.

Man those are some great paint ideas I and all look pretty awesome, great job on the GPz there Bozo you've done a killer transformation from where it started

As for paint... I bet money that the metallic light blue on your Z1R would look brilliant on your GPz as well... could be kinda slick to have matching bike paint

I had a similar blue previously on my bodywork, which I have to admit I was considering, the only problem was I didn't want to touch the wheels (don't forget I'm on a budget, the wife is already giving me the bug eyes) and somehow the blue with white wheels did not seem right.

That ZRX colour scheme is absolutely beaaaaaautiful.

531/ Irish, you are not making my decision easier, I'll have to get out the old dart board, attach the suggestions and throw. Seriously all the colour schemes mentioned have been great - unfortunately.

Our registration in Western Australia has just gone up $100 per year for each vehicle, so having three bikes on the road is starting to be expensive, it might be a while before it goes on the road.

Dang that sucks about the registration!! Not that I have ever seen or done this myself before of course and I always follow Johnny Law's rules :whistle: but I have seen some people just swap license plates to avoid that.... Not that I would ever consider doing it myself to save a serious boatload of change when I am so cash strapped :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

Wow...$100 increase per vehicle in one year - nuts!

Where I am, for each of my average sport - ish bikes Reg & Insurance, I pay over $400 / month during the riding season, and I have the best license rating possible with the maximum claim free / good driver discount (I speed wisely). For some reason, touring and cruisers (even the V-Max) are cheaper than standards and sport bikes to ensure here, .

If I wanted to insure and plate all my bikes, 1 car, and 2 pick up trucks for the entire year, I would be handing over nearly a quarter of my yearly net income...ouch...

Thursday I got get my VIN verification done at the Police Station then I have to put plates on it... I'm cringing at the likely cost already :pinch:
