Bought my first bike last October. Planned on doing some work to it over the winter but got busy so I'm just now getting around to it.

Don't like the seat or paintjob.

Did a little carving on the seat, I will eventually make a new pan and get it upholstered I guess, This is as good as I could get and still use the pan and cover.

Tank is going orange with the old aluminum Kawasaki badges

Fender and side panels will be flat black with black and orange badges

Primed up

Gonna get all that done and ride it this summer. Do some small things like new grips, levers, gear shifter. Dont know yet what Ill do with the rear fender but I dont like it either.

I see a rattle can in one of the pics. Did you use a urethane top coat for fuel resistance?

I only rattle canned the fender and side panels. My friend painted the tank, I'm not sure what he used but he has painted several motorcycles so I assume he used the right thing lol. I hope

Yeah, I noticed my forks already have the holes for a dual disc.

I may look into it and see how hard/expensive that would be. I'm going to be rebuilding my forks and painting them soon. May go ahead and do a break upgrade at the same time.
