I haven't got them off the bike yet. I'm waiting to get some bits lined up (pipe, rearsets, etc) before rolling it up on the work stand. :whistle:

Did you get the kerker yet?

I love the ones on webbike that were referenced earlier. No budget for that right now unfortunately.

Ya, cold and snowy... not the best conditions for motivating me to get at it. I'll let you know as soon as I do tho, for sure.

Didn't get the Kerker yet. The other fella is in the same position as me... too much to do and just trying to find a few minutes to dig the bike out from behind a bunch of other bikes. I'm in touch with him tho, just so he knows I'm still interested.

Well, I got a bit of a "look" at the Kerker yesterday. More of a glimpse and a "feel". it's still packed in a room full of old bikes. There wasn't any room to get a really good look. I was able to run my hand along the pipes and check for dings. Nothing of any significance to report.

There's definitely a need to blast them with something and paint 'em, but that was to be expected.


Also have a lead on some rearsets.

I should have both in my hands by the end of next week. Pictures then!

Ridiculously cold in the garage... It means I spend way too much time on the internet.

STILL waiting for a bit of a thaw to get into a garage to get at a little "goldmine" of bits for this project.

I have to get a windscreen for the fairing and we'll have to make up a bracket to make the rearsets work but that's all doable.
