As far as the oil cooler mounting location. You want that out in the air flow, or run a couple of electric fans right on it, possibly a cowl to direct the air flow. Most would mount right out front at the front down tubes of the frame. Maybe not as nice as hiding it, but you need the cooler to reduce temps, which is by exchanging with air, lots of it.

I agree with you but I don't like it out front. I don't have an air box and a lot of the items most guys have under the seat are not there on mine. The side covers essentially scoop air and it will run through the cooler. I have also found 2 aluminum 12V fans that will most likely go on the back. I have not decided whether they will be thermally actuated or not.

That's they way I viewed it Leon. Pretty much a stock motor and it always ran fine without a cooler. Moved to AZ so I thought the cooler would be a good idea.

Like those welds Jon! I agree on air flow for oil cooler. Find your spot that works for you. You are in Arizona now and the oil cooler will come in handy for sure. Engine, exhaust, forks, brakes, shocks all looking good as well!

Slow going but I did get a LED Headlight for the bike today. It fit perfectly in the OEM light bucket. The headlight is from Truck Lights and is DOT approved. Unfortunately I don't have the bike wired to give you a working pic but there are a lot of You Tube videos showing it off.

Got a new '03-'06 Honda 600RR tail light this weekend. Didn't quite fill the gap the way I had hoped. After some thought, here is what I came up with. I have a bit more sanding to do and a touch of mud to smooth it out. I think it turned out pretty nice!
