1978 KZ1000 A, Mild Mods

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationPete...I bought a kit for a Z1 and had to mod it slightly to fit. This kit is $30 or $40 cheaper than the others so I thought I'd try it. It was like this one and includes adjustable bracketry for mounting the tail light.

Thanks, I didn't know they sold kits, I thought every one fab'd their own, I've seen some tail lights that are like a 3/4 moon shape that tuck under the duck tail like they were made to order, I think they're off of a newer 600
I've been buying thousands of dollars in parts for my 76 LTD 900 for the past few years, while its been sitting collecting dust in the garage
Hope my transformation turns out 1/2 as nice as yours

There is a Honda 600RR tail light that fits under there nicely. The info is in my build, page 2-4 I think. There is a link in my signature to my build. Not the Ducati one I used so don't let that fool you.

You can cover the tire & spokes & disc ,Tape the middle, & paint the outside rim of the gold part , black

Oh, I see what you mean. That would probably look pretty cool. If I don't like how it looks I can do something with it over the winter.
