Here is a picture of the seat pan finished with the mesh riveted in. I really like how it came out. The pic kinda sucks, but my phone is getting worse and worse as the days go by. Also, the seat fit isnt great, but I am still working on the right foam.

Thanks man,

I totally agree about the front end, but I cant slide them up at all, th bars are right above them. I am going to take them apart soon to put new seals in them and I am going to cut the springs down a little when I do that. I think it will look much better.

I bought some doo hickies that slipped over the dampners or something anf dropped an inch. Drag bikes use them. Maybe someone who knows what they are will chime in.

The solution I had for my Police cafe was to push up the tubes an inch then mount clip ons to the exposed tube. I did have some drag bars on and to get them over the tubes I inverted a pair of bar clamps from another bike, they acted like a cheap set of risers.

Hum, and those should fit a 94? The forks are the same diameter? If so, I want to get the smaller, dust cap for the fork as well, as long as it will fit a 38mm tube. I cant understand how this part works, but I am def down for it. What size did you use? 2" or 1"?

I used the 1 inch. Not sure if they would fit in yours or not. Could try emailing Shnitz. They sometimes take a day or 2 but have always gotten back to me.

Oh, also, I need a little help. This bike had the big fork boots on it. I have a KZ650 as well. It has the small dirt wiper on the fork leg that is very short. Does anyone know if I can get the low dirt wiper for the KZ1000 fork?
