Have worked out the boost problem. Gauge should be showing pressure from tickover but the Drouin was meant as a bolt on for a std motor and mine is low comp and bigger capacity. Looks as though the current gearing was borderline for producing boost on the stock motor and just isn't pumping enough for mine so what i've got is still pumping but only just matching what the motor would take anyhow. Would still be pretty quick as its relieving a lot of work off the engine but won't have that low down grunt associated with a supercharger so looks like i'm gonna have to up the gearing.
Here's another pic from the other side.

Quick spec. 78 Z1000a. Modified Braced frame, Yam xjr1300sp swinger, gsx1400 rear shocks, zx9r forks with xjr muddy , zx7r wheels, srad brakes, switchgear and modified wiring, aprilia rsv1000 brembo front brake and clutch controls...
Motor - Dry blocked 1000a cases. welded Z9 crank. 1075 wiseco's, Gasflowed /skimmed /Eight plug GPZ head. degreed in std cams. Modified and rebuilt charger. Mr turbo keihin carb, oil cooler and tons of one off bits i don't have time to list or bore you with.
Lots more can be seen on the Z1OC UK site in projects under Drouin supercharged Z1000.

Yes! The Wakisaki Z1r was in Streetfighters issue 121 a Few years ago and hopefully the Drouin will be too with a bit of luck.
The SUZUKI GSX1400 is a retro style muscle bike similar to the XJR and ZRX, They probably call it something different over there ?.

As for cost so far ? Bearing in mind that all labour, welding, fabrication, machining, wiring, engine build, etc is all my own work and the only outside help is from the painter the current total is £4022 and 96p and i guess there's another £500 to go on top once i've paid the painter, bought new chain, battery and sourced more pulleys etc.

Well! It's always good to plan ahead :) and i already have a 1428 motor to go in if the 1075 gets boring ;). The twin plug does make a difference with the big motor so no harm in trying it as is just to see ?. I'm sure the blower could do with an extra spark anyhow with all that extra gas ?.
