Honeybadger....

Yes I believe it it's Hilarious!!

Ok I got the cover off, and now see that the countershaft seal needs to be replaced as well.

The shnitzracing site looks promising, I can't "relocate" the nederlands site.. If they are good folks I will not mind buying there.

Looks like this detour will delay the finish another week.

while your talking to Schlitz, order 1 of these. it has been a blessing for me. i absolutely love it. i am going to order 1 for my cbr too. although, i will order it direct from the supplier for less money.

if u have any trouble getting the seal, try your local dealer. i bought 1 a few years ago, so i assume the dealers can still get them.
Good luck.

I've been thinking about those quick disconnects myself....did you go with a shut-off type or open type?

i got a shut off on 1 half only. i put that towards the petcock because my petcock drips. if ordered from the supplier u can buy each half with or without the shut off.
this is part of the email i received from the supplier.

"Any Plastic Acetyl Coupler with FKM O-Ring are usually suitable for Fuel so if you look at the PLC Series Coupler (see highlighted Items below) you can find the following pair, we need to replace the standard o-Ring with FKM so we add the letter V at the end of the part number."
