Ok guys, I bought a set of perches for my bike from a zrx. I am leaning towards doing the hydraulic conversion here. I have seen people on here machine their sprocket cover to fit hydra and I have also seen them put aftermarket trick looking mounts.
I want my set up to look as stock or super stock as possible. I saw this piece but don't know if it is worth the effort or if there are other factory pieces that could be made to fit and work better. Any ideas?

That's a cool part but pretty expensive. I can't remember who did it but somebody on here modified their stock cover to accept a hydraulic slave cylinder. I've also seen another member who modified one of the aftermarket clutch release kits to accept a slave cylinder. I'll post the link if I can find it.

Yep, someone sent me this, Mark, I think. Hope whoever else did it can chime in.
I don't have the tools to mod the cover to accept anything so perhaps I could get it done. That piece seems over priced to me and I ordered previous from them. Paid twice the price for a sidecover that they sell everywhere else for half the price.

Personally I don't understand the issue with cable. Hydraulic just means more maintenance. Another fluid to change..

No issue with cable I just like the option of having newer style levers and since my master cylinder has seen better days and I have set of Rex perches, why not. And I have broken a few clutch cables as have people that I have ridden with.
