Yup the couch is the perfect place to take pics of various bike parts......lol. Saturday shipping will work.......lol. The funny thing about my front end i dont think there is any oil in there, from letting my niwwitted wheelieing friend ride it........lol, so it is probally as low as it could be, ie: no bunce in the front end when the breaks are applied........lol. When i get the frame painted, and the front end back on that will be my 1st thing i check. Maby the bike will get raked in the near future.

ZX6 Frontend will work great. You will have to use a set of suzuki gs1100 steering bearing for it to fit. I have done about three of them.

Fantastic!! I'm so glad to see it coming together. I can't wait to see it on the ground. What are you running out back? What kind of chain are you planning to use?

94' zx9 forks and rotors.
It looks to me like I will have plenty of ground clearance.
The forks can be moved down for increased clearance. Yeah!
Without the ninja clip-ons at the tops the forks can be moved down to compensate for the smaller front wheel.:silly:

If I were you I would restore it. A 79-80 MKII is worth a ton of money just sitting there. The last one I saw on ebay went for $4400 and it was not complete or runninig. I would suggest a 77-78 1000 and you can cut it up to your hearts content. Or trade me for my 77. ;)

Yeehaaw!:woohoo: :woohoo:

If it were a nice MkII I would not have bought it. I don't care for the MkII myself.
This bike has an abreviated VIN on the frame.
I was told that at one time you could buy a replacement frame for your wadded up KZ. So this one is far from perfect. I paid $2,700 for it. The engine is tight and runs strong. I do not have any MkII body parts for it.I have been very happy with it and ride it as much as I can.
