Great seeing the MONO come together. Keep us up to date.
Had it not been for a million in one chance of meeting with Pat Dunn, Lang's old racing friend, stopping by my shop as I was loading the bike for my move to Washington, the bike would probably be collecting dust in my shop. When our converstaion had ended, Lang was the new owner. I had no idea he was even looking for one.

I found some more old build photos I'll post later.

This is # K0001, the first frame I built for Lester Wheels in 79. I think it won Nelson Ledges 24 hr that year. Kenny Mallison was the crew chief.

All frames after K0001 had a bent backbone instead of the mitered one.

Wow, cool pics! B) I don't document that well now... and that's with digital tech, not old film tech!! ;)

I know that Lang would love to be a part of this thread. He's not much of a computer guy though. I don't think he even uses email! ;)

I'll continue to pass along all the info I get on his Project! :P

The bent backbones were done by Tri-Mil. Looked better and were probably stronger too.

A mockup fixture was used to test the accuracy of the engine mounts. This one is for the KZ.

Some of these photos are Polaroids so quality is not great.

If I keep looking at these old photos might get the urge to build one around a GSXR or a ZX10R.

Really love this "old" thread!! B) I just thought I'd revive it! :)

I think Lang Hindle is still working on his Behn/TriMill restoration. I'll do my best to find out "what's up wit dat" and get some pics of the latest progress. :P
