I read that but assuming the fuse was rated to handle the current this should not have prevented charging... Unless the fuse was blown open... DOH!

Well why didn't you just say that....
Hey, I'm old & stupid, WTF do you expect....

Nice to see it running man. Always a great feeling...

The only item that concerns me is your battery placement. Did it go under the tail on it's side after all?

Pop seems smitten on the beast. :)

Always something with guitars and bikes in my circle of friends as well. Haven't played in a band for several years and miss it. I've always played bass in the bands. My Warmoth Gecko is screaming at me to get her out of the case more often. :P

Let us know how it goes Mon. I just noticed you posted on my build back on the old forum in 05. It has been a while.

Cheers.

Yes, but it's an AGM battery . So far, no problems!

I'm looking forward to seeing your beast up and around, too!

I agree, great work. Persistance pays off (I'm building 2 1000 's right now and their both not finished....) it seems to take for-frigging-ever though (lol). Fellow guitar geek here also, 1974 SG custom. Regards Doug :woohoo:

Very nice build. I am happy to see it complete. B)

Do you know how much weight was saved by replacing the stock components removing the "non-essential" parts?

I just came in from a "spirited" ride...

Holy shit, this thing is fast!

I still have some tuning to do, mostly with the pilot screws, but when you open the taps and get it on the main jets it pulls like a mule! That bum stop behind the seat actually comes in pretty handy!
