Where did you get the dual head lamps like that? And the windshield?

I'd really like to know where to get that windshield and light assembly for my GFS, I've been wanting to convert it from single to dual light assembly.

Looks great man!...What is the tail off of if you dont mind me asking? After seeing this thing take form im def inspired to play around with my GPz. Also what year of Buell did the headlights come from and what was all needed to adapt them to the bike?

The tail is the stock ducktail from the kz650 with the inner fender stuff removed and a taillight from a 85 or 86 zx6. I stole that idea from anther member Mark Wing.

Here is a link to the info I used for the Buell conversion. It has all the part numbers and electrical connection info that you need.

They've discontinued the older, cheaper ($50) dual headlight unit and changed the part number and cost. I think it's over $125 for the light alone. I lucked out, my local Harley dealer gave me 3 other dealerships to contact about the older headlight. The last one I called had 1 in stock! Tee flyscreen is still a current production item and should be available in several colors.

I simply used a sharpie to outline the shape I wanted to cut and used an electric carving knife to cut and shape the foam. It worked great!

Thanks, it simply wires up to all of the indicators that were on the original set of gauges. The only one that I haven't been able to make work is the stop/brake indicator.

The speedo is driven off of a sensor mounted on the fork and a magnet on the brake rotor. The tach has a sensor wire that connects to one of the coils.

New rear wheel. 16x3.5 off of an 86' zx1000.

I took off the exhaust last night. I wanted to change out the flanges but they don't appear to be removable.
The end of the header tube is flared and instead of two clips that sit around the end of the pipe like every other 650 exhaust, these are one piece! I wanted to get this blasted and ceramic coated, I'll have to check to see if they still can.

I yanked the carbs as well, in preparation for removing the head and jugs. Had to survey all of my oil leaks. A full gasket kit is on the way!
