thanks wireman ..i got the tapered roller neck set from Z1 enterpise(very fast service) and did the stem swap, hope to have the swingarm by this sat. to start that im also going to start the coil repower and rebuild the harness..would you suggest 16 or 18 guage wire for the new harness?

18ga is allright for gauge lights and other low amp circuits.16ga should cover most of the other circuits but look at your old harness for heavier circuits like starting and charging systems;)

nope its off a 03 gizzer 750 but rear rim is zx7 to match front:P just wait for the box from fleabay to bring it:whistle:

solinoid to starter is a big ol beefy wire i dont have one in front of me right now though.on the bigger circuits look at your fuse holder and match the wiring to the size of fuse ;)

cool will do right now im looking for some software that does nice wiring diagrams so i can make a plan and it will be nice and neat and easy to fallow tried it by hand it was a mess ....and my 6 year old daughter got pissed cause i left her crayons at the shop:P :pinch: :whistle: :blush:

Wow...really lookin' good! I find that the ZX clip ons make for a heck of a reach and unless the road (or track) is twisty it also makes for a very long day.

Was meaning to ask.....what was involved in the stem shaft swap?? One longer than the other? Much machining involved? The bearings drop in or bushings or something need fabbed up?? OH!....got that swingarm and wheel on there yet?????:whistle: :P Real cool project....am awaiting any and all pics.....
