Remove the gas tank and look for any sharp bends or angles in the cables. Try it with the tank off and see if it gets easier. Pinched cables at frame / tank throat are a common source of binding, especially with non-stock tanks.

So been a while since I updates this. There don't seem to be any punch points or sharp bends but the cable seems like it's routed where it's tight. Can someone explain or show how it's support to be routed?

So I'm out on the road and I had ordered my throttle cable, a friend of mine was trying to replace it for me. But can't seem to get it off the carb mount. Is there a specific way to remove it or what? I'm not there to do it myself.
