The ones in the link don't have the fitting for the vacuum hoses do I need that on the manifolds?

First of all QUIT calling them manifolds, you're making me laugh,  ,Do your old ones have them? I don't think so, but I'll let one of the 650 guru's chime in
Pete

Ok? Well what are they then. And yeah the ones on my bike have them

If you read my previous thread, I told you they were CARB HOLDERS

Well when you type in kz650 manifold that's what comes up and what its listed as so don't tell me what to call them

& what cones up when you type in carb holders ? ....& don't worry, I wont tell you anything anymore, you seem to know it all, & with your cocky attitude I'm sure you'll get a lot of help, so good luck & ADIOS

Pete,
For some reason he tends to ask questions and then argue quite rudely about the answers. I gave up on him too and he told me to stay off his posts, but I feel compelled to try to help him one last time. Of course you are correct in stating those are called "carb holders". You know it, I know it, Kawasaki knows it , and everyone on this forum knows it. Eventually, he may even believe it. B) Ed

I hear ya Ed...... you need to cool your attitude..... guys are just here to help ............... Kawasaki, Z-1 and 99% on here call em carb holders........ Ebay carb holders and Maniflods both but they don't count and I think they are wrong !! and ebay has a set with the nipples which you do need for sycronizing but you will have to buy all 4 with them coming out of the right side and flip the two on the left side ones up since the leftys are no longer made........ unless maybe after market.

My 650 in the avatar has KZ1000 carbs and intake manifolds on it. The KZ1000 bolt spacing is different, but only by a small percentage. The KZ1000 manifolds can be modified with a file or dremel to move the holes inward enough to fit them to a KZ650. I didn't do mine, but the original owner was a friend of mine and that's what he told me anyhow of how to fit the larger carbs.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

This is whats needed to fit the 29m smooth bores.....900 manifolds (would need to look up the exact model) and then filing the holes with a round file to get the spacing right..... worked good for me and the ports match up (surprisingly) ........ but I think the carb opening would be too big for the stock 24mm carbs.

Yeah I'll just send these back then. Maybe I can use liquid gasket to make them seal better because I think that's the problem.

I've always read that liq gasket is a temporary fix and won't last....... I bit the bullet and bought a set for both my 24s and 29mm carbs.
