The fake Rolex and Omega look ok outside, even the certification and box looks quite authentic, but take the back off and the movement gives it away...but they still keep good time.

Compared to a fake chinky "Gibson" guitar, the tone isn't there.

From placebo contraceptive pills to Smith and Wesson revolvers, the chinks are faking everything these days...probably like my ex girlfriend :side:

where were we..oh yes Harley. Nice aftershave.

Charity relates to needs like food, shelter and clothing, no one needs a Harley. They are so overpriced you couldn't even make a case for needing one for transport with all the alternatives.

Seeing that fake Rolex made me laugh my brother bought my Dad one for a joke one Christmas many years ago and the crystal fell out before he'd worn it for a day gave us all a good laugh, while he was super gluing the crystal back in he noticed the gold paint was wearing off too. Harley's are a bit the same, sort of counterfeit real motorcycles, but unlike the fake Rolex they cost twice as much as the real thing :)

Also China, Mexico, Italy and other places outside the USA. Harleys should be marked "Assembled in the USA." Of course this also is true of all the cars marketed as made in the USA. Ed

Nothing wrong with riding a Harley as long as you are also into pimping drug dealing and murder. Its the software engineers and accountants that crack me up.

Harleys are cool, if you like that sort of thing. Let's not stoop to the 'jap crap' mentality that a lot of the Harley riders like to proffer.

Most of them started on jap bikes anyway, almost certainly in the Uk where 50cc and 125cc learner bikes are a necessity to get a full bike licence.

I have a 73 Triumph Tiger 750 because it's a really cool piece of history from the country I was born in and lived in for 40 years. I think it looks beautiful, but is it the best bike on the planet? was it it the best bike in 1973, heck no. That's how people need to feel about their Harleys and have an open enough mind to look around them and experience other things, to have an actual perspective.

She may have her shortcomings, but she's a looker IMO

Thanks, she's a bit like my KZ1000 in that I might get caught going out into the garage just to look her.

Same here! There was a time when motorcycle manufacturers didn't hide the engines under plastic shrouds because the engines were true works of art. Exhibit A:
