Well I survived another New Years Eve celebration :S It was easy considering I was in bed by 11pm  LOL

Out with the old and in with the new :P The new year brings KZR a outstanding bike saved by a respected member

SO, Please welcome Nessism and his awesome 1981 Kawasaki 750 E2 to being our First Bike of the Month for 2017

Ed Ness is a very active member here on KZRider who offers good advise regularly to our membership and I thank him for that ;)

Eds bike project started out as a rough 700 Dollar purchase and over a couple years he brought it back to life .
Before

After

ED made a few upgrades during the restoration but overall the machine is stock with a little added flavor

I always have liked Eds paintwork on this bike. A gorgeous Dark Blue Pearl that Looks Black in indirect light. NICE

Im only on my first cup of coffee ( With Baileys ) this morning so Im signing off for the moment to enjoy my Grandkids

But I want to thank Ed for letting me share his 750 with the membership as our January Bike of the Month.

Thanks Ed !!!! Very Nice Bike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

So Happy New Year and Wecome to BOTM

Thats a well deserved BOTM, that thing is immaculate, a great inspiration to me when I was working on on a 750 e, but I knew I'd never get to that level! Ed was a great help too and always keen to help out and share his knowledge. I hope he's getting plenty of mileage on the bike, I'm sure it will put a huge smile on his face! Congratulations Ed!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The photo of the RH front of the bike shows the one big wart: the powder coating on the #4 header bubbled up and I haven't gotten around to fixing it. I regret having the pipes coated even though the chrome was tarnished. At least problems like this don't occur.

Congratulations
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
