What file system are you formatting it to Steve - Fat 32 or exFat ? You want to do it to exFat if you want continuous recording and if your computer hasnt got the exFat option that is easily fixed.
I have only used VLC player - is that the one you have got and do you mean you need an option to cut segments from videos ? VlC is supposed to have a cropping option - never used it but that is for changing the size of your video images (say if you wanted to just have your bike as the main video image and remove outer) Taking out certain segments of main video is cutting.Sound like what you are after bud,

Would appear that tf7ues9gDl is for whatever reason an inaccurate designation.

Perhaps, while viewing the video on youtube, you could copy the browser address, and then paste the address in this thread.

Maybe do a search for another free video editing program if you cant find a cutting feature in VLC,

I've found it's difficult to tell one letter from another from the ID. Is it I,l,1
etc. I tried different combos and got it. Once it's posted you can see what they really are. I'll play around with editing clips.
I'm still having trouble with my charging system. It's the regulator/rectifier. Been degrading for a while. I dug out my old regulator and rectifier. Will put them back on until I can afford a new unit. I'll buy the best one I can get.

Oh yeah, that was a third gear pass. I looked for a sixth gear at the end. I've found myself doing that for years. If the gearing was any taller, I'd have no power at all.

Takes a bit of practise with the video editing mate - i am no expert.
Funny you should say that - i try for 6th gear sometimes - problem is it is only a 5 speed
Might get the transmission out of a Zephyr 550 one day
What revs are you doing in top at 55 MPH ? (is that normal highway speed limit there ?)

I'm at 3500 at 55. Around 4000 at 70. You mean a Zephyr 550 tranny will fit your bike. Is it a 750 or 900? The slow birds come down here and drive 35 to 45, even the ones from OR and Wash. State. Dillon is clearly marked 55 MPH. They must be reading KPH not MPH, or they're just stupid. I think the latter.

I am 4500 at 100 kmh- standard gearing .I am told that a Zephyr 550 transmission will go into my Zephyr 750 no problem. Havnt actually made 100 % sure - my tranny is still like new,
