I haven't been on this site in a few years since I restored my KZ1000 1978 but I thought I would let everyone know that I put a few videos on you tube of the restoration process of my bike.

Nice KZ! I prefer the stock seat because its lines flow with the tank and tail. Your seat is probably more comfortable.

Are there videos of your KZ there? I saw a bunch of Norton stuff something about splitting cases nothing about KZ's and then got distracted by mudbog videos that your stuff linked to but nothing KZ....

Two questions for you if you still remember.... What kind of hand controls are you using, specifically that front master cylinder and brake and also the foot pegs?

I have carb balancers, those carbs are bang on.

The front brake master cylinder is from EBAY. Just a cheap aftermarket one. Master cylinders are all pretty much the same. There is basically 2 types one for dual front brakes and one for single disc. The piston bore is either 10mm or 12 I believe, can't remember exactly. Almost all the banjo bolts are the same 8mm. It's an easy fit. I tried to rebuild the original one but is was just too worn out. The pegs are stock.
