To making the fiberglass seat pan had started. There was know clearance for my wiring harness for under my rear fender so I had to figure out a way to bring the wires through.

I drilled a hole for a 1\2 inch pvc pipe and heated it. I shaped it to the curve in the fender and taped it up. There was gonna be a little bump in the seat you can feel with foam on top, maybe slight. I layer many coats of cloth and resin to make worthy. The end result turned out good.

I really like the direction your going with this, keep plugging away and it will slowly get to where you want it. Good job so far.

I bolted on some 04 05 gsxr 600 rearsets. They fit great and I also did some modifications so I am able to shift properly.

To to the point in my build where my tank and my rear fender are getting painted. I'm not gonna go cheap on my paint job I got a guy who's pretty good but $$$ after the paint in done I'm gonna come up with a cool way to make the exhaust.I'm not sure yet but I don't want it to loud and I'm sure I require something to match the jets I have in.

I need to find out the right speedometer to use. If someone can suggest something for my kz550 just let me know.

I think I'm also gonna buy that nice looking gsxr triple tree top clamp cognito Moto has in stock.

Of courses I need to save some money for that m unite as well haha. Work in progress

Solid progress man! Looking really, really good, like any moment now you'll be able to hop on it and twist! :cheer:

Speedo? Use the aviator's VFR system! haha. If the traffic is in front of you, then you're going too slow. If the traffic is beside you, you're doing the speed for the street. If the traffic is behind you, then you're doing the speed for the bike. B) Just kidding. I dunno how to solve this one as you have the different front wheel, but so many ppl here have swapped in other front ends, there must be someone that's got the solution.
Good luck and keep it up. Totally feeling this build.

The last time I had a working speedo was over 20 years ago. I don't need it much in the city... you really have no time to look down. I would look into some of the digital ones people here have used. They look really nice, and you mount a sensor where you want, so you can hide it. They will also have include an electronic tach that senses from the coils.

Lol the aviator's VFR system, I love it. Yeah I live in Flordia so I would like to have a speedo because you will get pulled over so easily here.i can't wait to take this machine to dime city in Tampa and also to Daytona for bike week.

Next week my tank and gender will be painted so I will post some pics.

Yeah loud I'm gonna try to look up something on the digital side of the speedo. I know for sure its not gonna be cheap.
