ok so i ordered the carb kits and was putting them back together when i snapped the peace in the bowl were the needle sits and couldnt drill it out the way i wanted so i have to re build the parts carbs i ordered awhile back. i just havent really had the time to work on it. just wanted to leave a little update

so just a little update i would like to say that i have finished up the bike and have been riding her around but that would be a lie. it would also be a lie if i said that i havent had time to fix her up but i have i just have been lazy and havent had the drive to get back to work on it. so i guess my question is what helps you guys get back to projects after you havent worked on them in awhile?

so im taking the easy route of this project and im using my tax money to get it fixed by a local guy i know who does really good work just so i can start riding. but i also wanted to replace the the brake shoes and pad and i was wondering what brands do you guys use any input would be great.

I don't know about the shoes for the drum brake, but for the disk brake pads I recommend you get the genuine Kawasaki pads. Aftermarket pads may work fine to stop the bike, but at least some of them will squeal like a wounded pig until they are fully broken in after many miles or unless you chamfer their edges. Guess how I know. :laugh: Ed

well every one she runs and i rode her for about 10 miles today. omg im in love. i didnt even care it was 45 degrees out with the wind wiping my face. video and pics are coming later im waiting for a sunny day.
