That's what I was thinking on the way home HELL YEA
especially when I found the maintenance for the first 10,000 miles written down on the original owners manual in the tail.
Not to mention when I came home and found out that the only engine problem (on the 15,000 engine:)was when the last owner put a new chain and sprockets on he put the side cover on crooked so when he moved the bike the cover rubbed on the sprocket nut and broke. I guess I fixed the blown up motor huh.

Hey, how's bout more info on the tail light mod? It looks to fit quite well in there, and blends in with the tail piece... mind shareing more details & pic's?

Nice find on the other Z -- funny, I was out hunting parts for my 76 LTD, and found a complete 82 GPZ 750 for $600... couldn't pass it up!

Your bikes coming along nicely... keep up the good work!!!

sorry guys I have been slacking on updating

the way I made the cbr900 taillight look decent is I made an aluminum bracket to hold up the taillight where I wanted it then covered the taillight in painters tape then duck tape ( mans best friend) and filled the gap between taped taillight and the tail with kitty hair (fiberglass body filler)

I did get the bike painted and somewhat put together for pics

the bike is almost done as of now and is currently up at my school shop waiting on me to tune the carbs so hopefully next week you guys will get the finished pics and I will get to ride her :woohoo:
