What size is your engine? I assume you punched it out? I am almost done putting my KZ900 back together with a 1015 MTC over bore kit and APE 410 cams.

When I bought the bike, or actually it was given to me, the previous owner had just put a 998 kit in it. The cams are stock. I am trying to build something to cruise the highway with.

I had a 1000 ELR with giant cams and high compression, it was a blast to ride, and sounded like an Indy car winding up. BUT what a pain to travel, I had to carry octane boost with me.

Yeah, I went with the mildest cams possible and 1015 instead of 1075 because I wanted a mild overbore. I road it yesterday for the first time. I'm still breaking it in so I can't feel the full force yet. My first impression is that I successfully achieved a hotrod engine that isn't overkill. I am using the stock 26mm carbs so I'm sure 34mm carbs would give me a pretty good performance upgrade too.

I got my RS 34's from Dynoman as well. They are hands down the best money I've spent on my bike to date.

Did you have any trouble jetting them?

Can you tell me what you are running for a needle and pilot, and main?
Or did they work right out of the box.
