So I've been yakkin' about trimming up my Maier windscreen to a more authentic GPz screen. But its amazing how much different the Maier screen is compared to the GPz screen.
Then I start looking through ELR photos... Amazingly the Maier looks closer to the authentic ELR screen (of course the Maier has a round headlight opening).

Here are the screens, Maier (l) & GPz 550 (r).

And an ELR, which seems to consistently have this style windscreen.

So now I have to decide if I want to trim the reverse top curve into the Maier windscreen (ala 550 GPz). I have figured out how to get the reverse curve, but do I??? Hmmm...

Nice looking bike. I put a Maier fairing on mine and it helps to redirect the air off your chest on the highway.

Thanks Tomcat! My original KZ 550 was the red one as yours is - beauty paint IMO.
I finished trimming my Maier windscreen. Different than a GPz screen, but it mimics it better now.
