I work for a tire protection chain company and travel the U.S. installing tire protection chains primarily on wheel loaders in steel mills, quarries, and mines. I've installed chains on just about any size wheel loader, including the biggest wheel laoder in the world that operates in a copper mine about 80 miles east of Phoenix. Heres me standing next to the tire and that bad boy. (Im about 6'4")

I cant post pics either I guess. Not only am I a CSR moron but I am a computer moron as well. I have pics of this behemoth in my MySpace photo albums if anyone is interested.

Specs on the LeTourneau 2350:
Runs a V16 diesel with 4 turbos that runs a generator to power separate wheel motors at each of the four wheels.

The bucket will hold 50 yards or earth or whatever else it wants to pick up.

Tire size is 70/70-57 which is about 14 feet tall and just shy of 6 feet wide.

The tire chains that I installed on it weigh approx 14000 pounds and cost $80k a pair.

I love my job!!!!!

I should update mine. Accepted a new position today as Manager of Employee Development at the US headquarters of a major Asian consumer electronics company...the one most closely associated with the NFL. I'll move from enhancing the capabilities of people who design and manufacture replacement joints (the human kind!) to working with those who market and sell flat screens.
