Hello All, has anyone seen or used this Shoei FM2 Classic Fairing? Any ideas on one that isn't as expensive? I'm currently using a SlipStreamer windshield on my KZ400.
Thanks, Tony

Its the S-08 model and its not really big enough to keep the cold air off my hands. I'm also having problems with mounting bolts constantly coming loose and then falling off of it.

I'll swap you a FM2 Shoei (it's a Shoei and it looks like that one anyway) with a cracked windshield for your Slipstreamer. I don't have the handlebar mounting hardware though

That Shoei model sounds familiar.....but I cant place it..
Anyways.....I got the Meaier (sp??) "GpZ Sport Fairing" $79.00/U.S. from JC Whitney I like it. Handlebar mounts as well as mount to headlite bucket.
Took a wee bit of dremel work to get the fit tighter, but heck, its a "universal" design. Hers a shot of it.....dont have it on now as it has a "owwie" and gonna get new paint this winter, along with rest of the bike.

Pat, I drilled two 1/8 inch holes in the botom of it, and heavy duty nylon zip tied it to the forks above the lower triple tree. After a tweak, you can crank on the handlebar mounts until it's nice and tight against the headlight, and it won't shake free of the headlight mount on rough roads like we have arond here...that's why I did it.
