Hi,
Just wondering does the rear cowl behind the seat after the two bolts are removed pull to the front or back of the bike for
removal? Need to swap a turn signal. Any tips would be appreciated. Want to be careful with the paint! Thanks in advance.

Two bolts under the seat then lift the rear edge above the lens slightly and then backwards.
There is a rubber block that's part of the tail light assembly that locates into a moulding on the underside of the tail piece. The block is a wiggle fit and supports the rear end of the tail piece.
