Battery acid marks on chrome exhaust?
It's not bad but rather irksome. Not bad enough for rechrome but is noticeable on an otherwise mint stock bike.

Nothing will really disguise it Warren, the acid has stripped the chrome, it will start rusting unless re-chromed.

I don't think it's stripped the chrome Kev, just discoloured it. It's not a bike that I use so doesn't see any rain.
I've run out of projects so finding work for idle hands

My go-to for removing blemishes from chrome is 0000 (quad-aught) steel wool. It's very fine and polishes chrome quite nicely.
Some people combine it with automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or soap to make the polishing process easier.

OK, before and after with 0000 and some fine metal polish. Only did the bit above/left of the khi embossing.
Before
After
New tin of elbow grease opened to do the remainder then seal with quick glo.

That mess was done in the 70's Wookie. It's had an agm in it for years. It's not a bike I use but as I've run out of projects I'm just finding work for idle hands before I get decorating duties thrust upon me.
