I am trying to find a gas cap compatible with my original tank. It’s part # 51048-1001. The few that I could find are like $200, seems like a lot for just a new gas cap. Has anyone run into this problem and found a reasonable solution?
that seller has the wrong part number. the 440LTDs had the rectangular fuel cap. the 440B standard used the round one found on the 400B/C which are hard to find. here's one from Thailand $$$. eb #265498684974. later saw another one that's a bit cheaper.
