Thruxton style flyscreen ? was created by kzdcw
Anyone installed one of these on their KZ's ? Have a 77' KZ1000A . Seems like it would fit . 8" headlight hole and 9" mounting width at the headlight/signal mount ears.

I also have this Post in the Chassis section. But as I said there, the Maier sport fairing measures 12' across at the side cut-out. My short stalk mini-turn signals measure 2 3/4" from mounting point to outside end of signal. So when I try to install the Maier fairing , the cut-out of the fairing covers half of the signal lens.
I stalled a 1/2" nut on the signal mounting stem which moved the signal out a little and was still able to use a thin jam nut at the end to mount the signal but not any more thread on the signal stem. Even with this mod., the signal is still too narrow.
So besides mounting longer turn signals, I'm out of options ?
