Yes.
Just about where the exhaust goes under the front footpegs are you will see a little chrome "beauty shield" held on by a screw, behind that there is a clamp that holds the rear muffler section to the header pipe. Loosen the bolt on that clamp, remove the bolt in the rear that holds the muffler to the rear footpeg, and just twist the muffler back-and-forth as you pull it backwards and it should slide right off.
I would suggest replacing the gasket at that clamp point when you re-install it so you don't end up with a noisy exhaust leak.

You can remove the rear wheel straight out towards the back without needing to remove your mufflers.
Disconnect the torgue link (# from the drum.
Loosen the rear axle nut, allowing the wheel to move forward.
Remove bolts #16 and parts #18 (Stoppers) from the swingarm.
Disconnect the drive chain and slide the wheel off to the back.

As rstnick says, you HAVE to remove the rear wheel as the axle passes thru the drum brake backing plate, remove wheel, remove backing plate (right side)and the brakes are in your hand!
