im seriously considering doing the 17"wheel route on current project but trying to find a short ltd style fender that matches radius of a 17"wheel than a stock 900-1000 fender thats made to match a 19" wheel, any ideas?

Yup! Have Vinny or Cody make it! 1st Take a 17 inch barrel and have Mikey cut out a 8 inch strip out of it. Then get Mikey and Sr. to toss it back and forth at each other. Then Sr will come and get mad at you for living and go storming off into the office while you get on your NEW Norton and go to the local Booty House. Mikey will sneak into the mens room and snort some Boraxo then hit the couch. Sometime later Vin and Cody will have the fender you are looking for by ordering it from a custom house. You can take the fender on the Rosie O'Donell show and beat her senseless! OK?

:P im pretty good at cutting and bending things but there is just too many compound curves in a front fender for me to try and section and radius one for me!;)

check ebay for a universal cafe fender, they make lots of different ones, Im sure one for a 17 will pop up after awhile.
or modify a fender from a zx(or any other bike running 17s) to fit
