So I have been looking for a set of forward controls for my bobber project and I cannot for the life of me understand why they run from $400 to $600 or more. Is there anywhere that sells a good looking set of no nonsense forward controls at a reasonable price?

I've seen a few for $250-300 on e-bay. I too would like forward controls but havent figured out how to make a shift linkage to work from sticking out so far from the shift shaft. I'm thinking of a "bellcrank" of some sorts but it looks to be a major pain to mount etc. You got any ideas?

Great info! I didn't think about using the factory master cyl. I wish there were more pic.s of the shifter set up but there is enough to get the general idea and work with that.THANKS!

If you click the pics at the bottom, it opens a page that describes what all the parts are that you will need to do it right. If anyone tries this before I get a chance to, let me know how it works out!

I just looked at the 1100 to see how it would fit and it looks VERY promising. I also looked at the Voyager parts bike and just about everything I will need for the shift linkage is there except a longer rod.(Heim joints, shaft connector, shift lever, pivot). Looks like the long Voyager brake pedal will work also with some bending. Since there is no chrome on the spectre, I can get by with some rattle can black Thanks again Draco. You da man!!!!!
