I bought a set of 24"w 7/8" drag bars the other day and the controls do not fully close around the bars like they did on the bars that were on there.
I cut openings where needed to route the wiring out of the control boxes and still allow them to fully close. There is a fairly large gap at the bottom of the mounting brackets as well. Are all aftermarket 7/8ths bars going to be like this?
Also, it's looking like the stock master cylinder isn't going to fit on with this width of bars. I nee dto re-route the brake line from the master cylinder to see if I can clear the tach. I'm thinking about going with the 27.5"w bars that Z1 sells. Anyone with a 650 and drag bars have any fitment issues?????
Anyone know of a more compact master cylinder that I could use?
