Yesterday I bought a Z650B! I also have a Z1000 with wider rims (tires are 150-17" rear/110-18" front) and wider swingarm. Because the 1000 has engine damage and won't be on the road for a while I'm thinking about swapping the rear wheel and swingarm, and the front wheel. Can anyone tell me if this is a straight swap?

HeyZthou1977 - The biggest rear tire I could stuff into my rear swingarm was a 130. My bike has the stock 650 Custom 7 spoke mag wheel. You will have less than 1/2 clearance on each side with this swap.

Hi Colin, I want to exchange the swingarm as well for the (wider) one that is in the Z1000. If the standard Z1000-swingarm fits the Z650, the wider swingarm that I use now to accomodate the wider tire will also fit.
Greetings from the Netherlands,
Jeroen

I gave it three warnings, yet it still wouldn't run again. I'm going to repair the engine, put the wheels from the Z650 under it, and then it's up for sale. That'll teach it a lesson

As soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera I'll post a picture. Probably at the beginning of next week.
