kz900 motor in a kz650 chassis? was created by Injected
Was wondering if anybody has done it and what is involved? Talking about drag bike useage - chassis has a widened and lengthed swingarm with a 5.5 slick mounted (530 chain clears tire by 1/4")

Was wondering about motor mounts and chain position?

Welcome.
Been done by a few. It's a tight fit. What's involved I can't remember, but try a search.

Here's some pix:

Just saw your pic in the gallery, nice.

Still tuning it, but so far 11.15 @ 126 MPH. I think I might be able to get it into the mid to low 10's - that is the goal. Think the small displacement is holding me back so I am looking to put a 900 motor in it - more hot rodding parts avaliable and able to go up to 1500cc, but I think 1260 should be enough !
