but i agree it could have a stealthy rat rod, what ever you want to call it look, especially with some minature led blikers and removed side panels.

I don't know if you have looked at the new krylon spray that bonds to plastic.
I have had good luck with rattle cans. You have to put several light coats on then get wetter on the last couple of coats. You neet to watch the suface and move fast enough and put enough paint on so you keep the paint looking wet as you move. The overlapping strokes have got to wet blend to the previous painted area.
The paint will still not be gas resistant though.
