I replaced mine with a set of foam grips from here:

There are quite a few other places for grips for 7/8" handlebars, although I am not sure if the OEM grips are still available. It is just a matter of preference and a bit of shopping around. Good luck!

Stay with stock grips. The trouble with foam grips is they eventually get hard and slippery. Slippery means you have to grip the grips with more hand pressure that gets real tiring fast. Many "soft" feeling grips have this same problem, plus the rubber will wear off them quickly. I probably tried 10 or 15 different types of grips over the years and can safely say they all were junk over the long run except the stock Kawasaki ones. It's possible other brands like Honda had some good grips that could work too, never tried that option. One good thing about the stock grips is the throttle grip comes complete with the inner tube that your cables hook to, so it makes installation real simple as you only need to fight and glue one grip.

I like my "pro sport cushioned" grips from z1enterprises, the only real downside to em is with my gloves on (lined deerskin shooting gloves), I feel like I need to squeeze the grips harder, but after forcing myself to loosen my grip, the throttle wasn't creeping shut, it was just an odd feeling with the really tight lined gloves. My foam grips didn't do this, but they were a lot less comfortable bare-handed, as they had no taper and were pretty big. I'm staying away from any grips with the throttle tube already installed, as I'd have to fight to take em off to put my grip heaters on this fall.
As for stock grips, I tried a set and hated them, too skinny, my grips need some meat on em.
