Opinions of 88 Zx750 suspension? was created by steell
I have the opportunity to pick up a 88 Zx750 roller pretty cheap, and I'm wondering if the front and rear suspension is worth swapping onto a KZ650?
My current options are:
Swapping on 83-85 GPz750 suspension using parts on hand.
Picking up the 88 Zx750 roller and using the suspension off that one.
I don't know much about the 88 Zx750 suspension, so i'm trying to find out if it is lighter and a better suspension than the GPz750.
Anyone have an opinion? As in, is it a worthwhile upgrade from the 83-85 GPz750 suspension?
It will be going on a 80 KZ650 (supposed to be delivered today or tomorrow) that I am going to stick a GPz750 motor in (as soon as I put it together), probably with an 810 kit and EFI (depending on finances).

As you know I swapped out my stock shocks on my kz1000st for KYB's from a 04 ZRX1200. They are awesome.
My point is most our old bikes need updated shocks for sure. I think the newer they are the better technology. I would try the 88 roller.
