Watch it folks,i have sticky fingers when it comes to a nice looking set of handle bars:)
how do you install those rubber seat cushion things? was created by kzmarvo
My seat is needed those rubber seat things that the seat sets on. I have 2 of them and was wondering how they install. I cant get em in for the life of me, any tips?:blink:

If they're the same ones I remember, you'll notice holes in the frame-facing side of the blocks that correspond to the cone-shaped plugs that are inserted into the seat pan....
Get yourself a "T" handled allen wrench that fits easily inside the hole in the block. You want a *DULL* end on the allen. If you press on the wrench handle, you'll see the cone-shaped plug lengthen and actually *shrink* in diameter as you press the wrench further into the hole.
Place the tips of the cones into the holes in the seat pan. Insert the wrench in the hole in the block. Press evenly. The cone should pop into the hole and the shoulder of the plug will seat against the seat pan.

soak em in a ziplock bag full of armor-all to soften them up.
