Need custom rotor for KZ/FE Sporty Hybrid was created by 415ZR1
Okay, a tad bit unorthodox...I'm helping a friend with a basketcase pro-street ex-racer Ironhead Sportster. The bike has KZ900 forks, wheels and brakes up front and a '77 KZ1000 rear wheel and brake.
On the rear, for spacing issues, need a no-offset, flat rotor to fit the '77 KZ1000 wheel.
Does anyone know of a source for custom rotors or rotor blanks? Finding a source for rotor blanks would be especially nice as I can finish machine it myself.
So far, contacts through Google searching has found a lot of places offering custom rotors for existing applications (especially shiny for HD and wavy for sportbike squirrels) but no one who will do one to customer spec.
My recommendation to the owner was to keep the KZ wheels and forks and replace everything in between with KZ items...
