front end swap was created by sbjones
well i finally got my bearings from pro flo yesterday. man it took them like a month and a half to get them to me. i was a little disappointed to say the least.

but i finally got them. and i guess that is all that matters. so anyways. i got my 2001 gixxer front end on finally!!!!! i thought that it was going to lower the front end like 3 inches, but it really only lowered it like 2 : i know that really isn't much, but i love it.
i will post some pics here tomorrow.

not sure what to do about the front fender. i want to keep the basics of the old school look, but the front tire is smaller than stock, i may have to do some cutting and welding again. no biggie, getting used to making things work.!!!!!!!

Klasmo as well as AmericanClassix I believe carries a front fender in the "old school" look. You just need to make some brackets to fit your Gixxer forks. I've attached a couple of pics. I hope this helps you.

Another one showing it mounted on what looks like ZX7/9 forks.
