THese look like the same shocks that Partsmore stocks for the kz1000. When I wrote to them they said:
The shocks we sell are MDI.
They are High Quality and made in Taiwan.
We have sold hundreds for them without any complaints.
I personally use them as well.
However, when I asked about them here (I can't find the link) a couple of people weren't overly happy with them due to fade problems.
