I use better springs and swap the air caps for adjustable preload caps.

They seem to be out of business or no longer on the web... Progressive or Race Tech are still searchable.

82' KZ750-R1 cafe racer style. Clip-on, Rear set, Fork-Brace, Mikuni Flat-slide (forgot the size), Kerker.
84' GPz750 (basket case). everything are in pieces.
89' ZX750-H1 (ZX-7 Ninja). Resurrection project are on going with my KZ750. Everything is stock.

But yeah, I have their springs in my fork. I'm still putting my bike together so no road feel/experience yet, but from what I had in there, initial feel of the springs, just by handling the bike to move it around, is way better than the stock ones. On the plus side, I don't have to worry about the air in the fork any more.
