Rear brake solution needed KZ1000A1, Ltd brakes? was created by Duck
Here's what we've got...
Do not have a better photo.
Axle is 20mm dia.
Any suggestions for a replacement? The pucks are way too pitted to use.
Local boneyard had nothing that would fit.
I'm not opposed to some modification but am not keen on fabricating a
mount for a different caliper from scratch.

The guy I got the bike from didn't know much about it. He said the
guy he got it from told him the wheels were off a Ltd.
So, I don't know if brake is the original A1 unit or from the Ltd.
The pucks are 42.8mm diameter.
approx 22.8 tall overall
approx 17.2 tall at 42.8mm the difference is the groove and
lip for attaching the dust boot.
groove is approx 34,1mm, lip approx 36.2mm, lip height approx
2.5mm grove height approx 2mm
pocket in puck
ID approx 26mm
depth approx 17.6mm
You can tell I'm enjoying these calipers
I dropped by local guys backyard boneyard. Kwaker wise he had
a 750-4 a couple of 500-4 and some 1000CC watercooled called a
'concourse' but nothing that fit. He's mostly a 2-stroke yard.
Here is a better photo. On the axle to keep track of parts.

The 76-79 750 twin uses the same diameter axle and the same brake rotor, but you may have to fiddle with the spacers and a brake stay to make it work.
